Katherine offers counselling face to face in Maryville, Newcastle or via an online platform. Katherine works with people experiencing a range of challenges, including relationship difficulties, post separation, grief and loss, caring for a family member who experiences mental health struggles, pregnancy and parenting counselling and working with people who have experienced violence, abuse and trauma. This may occur through an individual focus, couple focus or multigenerational focus depending on the presenting struggle.
Katherine holds professional membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Katherine is also a member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT) as an accredited Clinical Family Therapist. Katherine is an accredited Victims Services Counsellor and Family and Friends of Missing Persons Service, Missing Persons Counsellor in NSW. If you are interested in utilising the Victims Services scheme, it is important to apply directly with Victims Services in the first instance.
